ANC: Xenophobic attack threats exaggerated

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African National Congress (ANC) says the possibility of xenophobic attacks were nothing but "exaggeration and sensationalism".
Somali teen murdered at shop

A Somali teenager was killed outside a shop on Sweet Home Farm near Nyanga on Monday.
Omar Haji Mohamud, 19, who was staying with friends and helping at the Madiba Shop, a spaza shop, was killed at about 7am.
Somali killed in P.E Township
A Somali national is reported to being shot dead in P.E Township at the height of much speculated xenophobic outbreak.
No details are available at the moment, but sources in the area say he was shot dead in his shop at Greenbushes location.
This comes barely a week after another Somali national dead of injuries his sustained from gun shots by alleged robbers.
Army sent to S.Africa township after migrants attacked

Three Somali men hijacked on their way to buy stock for their shop in Khayelitsha early on Saturday were taken to a remote area in Philippi and shot at point-blank range.
Mohamed Omar Shadoor, 26, died instantly from a shot to the head, while Mohamed Hassanali is in a critical condition at Groote Schuur after being shot in the mouth.
