Somali Association of South Africa is hereby thanking to the Manager of Crown Mines Refugee reception offices Mrs. Florencia for her courageous and willingness to help refugees and asylum seekers.

The latest example of her good work was about a man who wanted to reunite with his 15 years old who was subjected to great difficulty to go through the process for days, his most humiliating experience was from Social development Johannesburg offices whereby the officials simply didn’t wanted to help at all even when an official from our office went there to seek help.

It didn’t took minutes for Mrs. Florencia to help him despite the huge workload at her desk, she even had a time to call Social Development offices to complain about the bad treatment of her client

In a written correspondence with us (SASA) she apologized for the incident though she was not involved.
